Leaked images not only shows the dialer menu, but also teases recent call panel and a missed call sign. Whatsapp reportedly also working in a ‘self adjusting call quality‘ algo, just like Google Hangouts, which adjust the quality of call according to the network strength. So, if someone is on a very low-end network like 2G, then the call will automatically get a low quality one. This feature is mainly to avoid lags and interruptions while calling.

WhatsApp is a famous cross-platform internet messaging service, launched back in 2009. It was basically designed to let all smartphone users send and receive unlimited amount of texts, images, audio and video files from all over the world. Soon, the world started to knowing it and it became one of the most downloaded apps. Because it was against advertisements, people started loving it. Though there were other internet messengers at that time too, still whatsapp got its own image due to i

ts ad-free and easy-to use interface. Today.
After few more time, Facebook smelled the profit and bought the whole company in $19 Billion, making the biggest ever digital product deal ever. There were many updates done by Facebook this year including last seen time and the deadly Blue-ticks in WhatsApp. Few more things are also there including more secure encryption (like telegram) and high group member-limit. Ridiculously, WhatsApp still lacks many common IM-features of this age. Calls are introduced years ago in Viber. Group members limit is 200 in Telegram and upto 2,000 in palringo ! Most of its competitors have their web versions, while whatsapp still allows its users to access through the app. However, a recent leak have claimed that soon WhatsApp will launch its web version from where people can send and receive all the things through their web browsers in PC (No more need to use Bluestacks).
So, even after lacking of such basic messaging features and other functionalities , whatsapp has the most massive user base of more 600 million active users. Whatsapp can generate millions of $$$ revenue if monetized, but the real founders Brian Acton and Jan Koum are strictly against it from the beginning only.
In fact, at the time of the deal, they made Facebook agree of not monetizing it anyway forever. So, the main earning source here is the $0.99, which user has to pay every year, after a year of free use. However, a recent report claims that southern Asian countries like Sri Lanka, India and Pakistan will get another free year as online payment is still an alien concept for many people there. And in that case, users may switch to another client to get saved from the payment procedure – which whatsapp never wants, Especially for India. India has a large number of WhatsApp users of over 70 Million active users.
